Present: Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios in Orlando.  If that does not count, Haunted Mansion at the Magic Kingdom.

Past:  Tough one, so many....  Earthquake and Pirate Ride at Cedar Point, ORIGINAL Old Mill at Kennywood (Before Garfield)

I used to be a Cast Member at Walt Disney World so I do have a fair few that a Disney, but there is a couple from the UK parks that I've visited in the last two years?

I can't pick an all time favourite, so here's my top 5 and they will change time and time again:

1. Peter Pans Flight - Magic Kingdom
2. Pirates Of The Caribbean - Disneyland (more show scenes that the one at WDW and DLP)
3. Dinosaur - Disney's Animal Kingdon
4. Phantom Mannor - Disneyland Paris
5. Hex - Alton Towers (now is that a Dark Ride?)

1.  Transformers The Ride 3D  ;D

2. Radiator Springs Racers.... but not for the actual dark ride section. So i guess this one doesn't really count.\

2. Journey to the Center of the Earth!!! :]
Tatsu, T-Express, Iron Rattler!

Currently I don't have a lot on my list of rode dark rides.
But I think my favorite is:
Pirates of the Caribbean - Disneyland Paris

I think my favorite dark ride was "Flight to Mars" at the now defunct Palisades Amusement Park in Cliffside, NJ

I've only been on one dark ride which was Joruney to Atlantis in Orlando! It was a good ride in my opinion :)

My favorite dark ride will always be Mr. Toad's Wild Ride... I think for its pure simplicity and the mere fact that the premise of the ride is so ridiculous.

High tech dark rides though... Nothing compares to Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, though it's not my favorite. My favorite high tech dark ride is Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Followed very closely by Journey to the Center of the Earth. :) The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman is also quite awesome.

Never been on transformers the ride 3D but I've seen videos of it. It is hands down the BEST DARK RIDE ON THIS PLANET! :D

I regret nothing saying that comment

In my opinion dark rides are not supposed to be just rides with screens that show you a movie. I find a Dark Ride with Animatronics and special effects much better.

Haven't been on that many dark rides, but the best one for me so far was Phantom Manor in Disneyland Paris. Especially the ghosts and the skeleton in the end. :)

I heartily agree since if I wanted to see a movie, I would just go to a movie theater whether or not the ride gives you the feel of being there by bouncing, rocking, etc. To me the best dark rides are the ones with animatronics, things that appear suddenly, and the like. One exception to this (eventhough I have not seen it firsthand, but by POV videos) is the haunted mansion.

It is intersting to watch how the haunted mansion came about:

Technically there is one animatronic but it's just Megatron hanging upside down from the roof. Other than that, I like the interactive dark rides like "Boo Blasters on Boo Hill" where you can shoot the ghost :)

Sometime the screens works, but only if it makes sense (Midway Mania) or if there is a medium (even mix of both). Forbbidean Journey REALLY relys on Screens too much, if it wasn't for the Kuka arms that ride would be so empty
