Hi Guys, yes Move It 24 is phase 8 ready but not released yet because TPS phase 8 has a bug with rides that are hierarchy created and key framed instead of using physics. I have asked Pantera to look at this bug but has not yet been fixed.
Problem is that TPS phase 8 does not notice the guest seats when nested inside hierarchy like on the Move It ride. That is why i cannot release it yet.
Still waiting for the fix from Pantera! Sorry!
Hope it is clear for the moment. Once it is fixed i can release the ride right away.

Thanks, davaze. I'm sure they will get to it because they have a lot on their plate and need to take "small bites" to make sure things are ok.

Hi Abletudu,
I know they will, just wanted to take away some confusion about this particle ride.
Below a short update status of the rides from my side.
Up to now the rides released which are phase 8 ready (available on Steam Workshop):
- Break Dance
- Himilaya

Rides ready for phase 8 but not released yet (issues with TPS phase 8 itself):
- Move It 24

Rides to be ready soon:
- Turbo Polyp (only need to re-animate)
- Twister * New* (need to texture map and animate)

Rides still to be updated but also having issues with TPS:
- Huss Condor
- Hyper Tension

I'm sure that issues regarding flat rides, animations and physics will be resolved soon and that my flatrides were usefull in finding and solving these issues.

Stay tuned!

Yes, that's was also my experience.
But when I had a look at the posts above I thought version 3.0 was already uploaded.
Seems we have to wait a few more days. But I know it's worth because I really like the Flatrides created by davaze.

My sentiments exactly! You know its going to be good if Davaze has made it

Thanks Guys! Good to hear you like the rides.

Abletudu, if you refer to your carpet ride then the reason why i did not work on it is very simple. At this moment TPS does not give me the oppertunity to handle the loading and unloading sequence of guests. For now only full cycle loading is possible. For example the Ferriswheel has a different loading as well which is currently hardcoded in TPS. Your carpet ride also needs such loading type. I have suggested already to have own control over the loading sequence. If or if not this will make it into the current release of TPS is up to Pantera. Nothing i can do about it.

However your idea's are always welcome here, good example of your idea is the Himilaya ride which looks great.

What I was referring to was the fact that when I tried, I couldn't get the animation right. We all have our skills, yours happens to be great flat rides and I think mine is more static scenery.

Which ride you tried to animate correctly? If you tried your way with the carpet ride then it is better to wait until TPS allows us to control the loading sequence different then full cycle only.

If you ever need some suggestions or tips, just drop them. If i can i will try to assist.

Hi Xul, sorry if my posts mislead you but yes i wanted to release the Move It 24 ride before starting my holidays but unfortunately i found that TPS phase 8 has issues with this kind of constructed ride. This means it would be useless to release as it won't work, not allowing guests nor ride 1st person. Pantera is informed about it already a while ago. I don't think it will be a couple of days only. As far as i understood Pantera is working very hard on many things. All we can do is wait untill these issues are being worked on. Can't help it. I would love to release all my created rides but as it goes during early access there can always be issues. That's why we test and hopefully get them resolved.

Once i can release working rides i will announce them. Stay tuned!

Thanx for the information, davaze. Days, weeks or months (hopefully not years...) - we unfortunately have to wait for the rides unless Pantera will find a solution for the problems. I think it's a great thing that we are allowed to create own rides in this game. But this makes it so difficult for Pantera to consider about all the different types of rides or loading sequences. I undestand this and it's absolutely okay for me.

But I am afraid that I now work hard on my current projects - and after the next updates they won't work anymore because Pantera will make "bigger changes" in upcoming versions. I build some nice parks in the past I think, but they are no longer worth playing because they do not work with park guests. That's the risk when you are playing an early access game of course. At this advanced stage I did not expect big changes anymore to be honest. But when I read what davaze told us about important or necessary changes Pantera have possibly to do, I thing it would be better to stop working on my projects and wait for the final release...

I am not going to stop, because as long as I keep plugging away my parks will get better and better and I will keep coming up with more and more ideas.

I will not stop either for 2 reasons:
1 - I'll gain more experience with all possibilities in TPS
2 - This way bugs and issues can be found which will make TPS even better.

No, i will not stop building parks. But I will not make everything "perfect", will not build trees or scenery objects. I will work on coasters and paths and terrain and I will do some experiments with sound and textures. But no "real" parks unless I can be sure that they will work with upcoming versions of TPS.
