Wrong URL tag when embedding youtube video - Fix -
« on: May 29, 2015, 01:28:41 AM »
Maybe you have found that when adding a youtube video to your post you receive the video saying: Device not supported etc.

Reason is that for some reason when saving the post the video url you copied inside is converted with a wrong reference in the URL tag.

Solution is to just simply modify your post and copy, paste the video ID only to the wrongly changed reference in the URL tag.

For example:
In your post you add:

w-w-w-.youtube.com/watch?v=UhTanJRfQtU (without - between w)

When saved you see the message in the video, not supported. When you modify your post you see the code as this between []:

url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKY3scPIMd8#ws]www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhTanJRfQtU[/url

Now you see the bold part is your video ID but in the URL reference the ID is changed (underlined italic marked). Just copy the bold highlighted ID from your video and paste it instead of the underlined italic part in the URL tag. Both ID should be your video ID.
Save your post and it works again.

The final URL should be like this between []:

url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhTanJRfQtU#ws]www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhTanJRfQtU[/url

Note that both ID's are now the same (bold highlighted)
Hope it is helpfull until this issue is fixed.
