Yes, but only one is needed.
Also, because this forum is sooo new, people have been making a ton of threads, right? After a while the posting will die down. And with more sections comes more posts, and more items to comment on which isn't bad in my opinion.

A section to show off the game so if you want to look before buying (in the future, of course) you can see screenshots before you make your descision, sometimes I like that before I buy

Thanks for all the input!  These forums are brand new and just starting up, there is a lot to be done but we are working hard at getting these boards up and running smooth so members have a place to come, have their questions answered and join in the excitement as TPS gets ready to come at you.  Your ideas about these forums are important and we see them, we try to implement the good suggestions from the community and we have a very talented and dedicated staff that is working on them also.  You will see a lot of changes to the forums as we go along, hopefully they will all be good ones but for now we hope you will all be patient.

The future of ThemePark Studio is in our hands but the future of the TPS forums are in yours,  you are talking and we are listening.

Great ideas so far! :D

The only idea I can think of right now, is to add polls to some of the forums if they are needed, or to have an option to add a poll to a forum you created.

The poll button can be found on the right side at the top of the forum section just under the "previous" and the "next" button,

I don't know if someone already suggested this.. But a "Happy Birthday" section would be a good feature :)

^ It think I know what you mean. Like having a special section saying: "Todays birthdays are: insert member name here"
But have it down at the bottom near the statistics area.

Since TPS I think is going to allow for easy sharing of parks and creations, I'm looking forward to "touring" other people's work.  So I agree a space for downloading shared parks and commenting is useful.

Downloads section is a good idea.  Posting your videos as well.  YouTube spends more time buffering than actually showing your works.

Some ideas on how to divide the forums in the future, as well as ideas on the exchange.

General TPS:
 > News/Announcements
 > General TPS Discussion

Projects:
 > Tracks/Parks in Progress
 > Finished Tracks/Parks Advertising
 > Custom Content / 3D Modeling / Visual
 > Scripting / Technical

Misc.:
 > Amusement Industry Discussion
 > Off-Topic

:: The Exchange ::
 > Top-Rated Projects for Past 7 Days
 > Top-Rated Projects of All Time
 > Search
 > Differentiate between Ratings/Reviews and Comments on Projects.
 > Project Deliverables: Screenshot (actual screenshots, not photography), Video (or Youtube embed, optional), Project File (.zip perhaps? Unless TPS has a good packaging tool that can deliver all possible assets needed).

Ok. I think once the game is up and runing we should have a section to show off our parks like on shyguysworld or Theme Park Review, and since we can visit parks we can have TRs (trip reports!)!

C-A_99: I actually like that idea you have there ;) Hopefully the forum is set up to something similar to your plan..
