Questions about Theme Park Studio
« on: February 10, 2013, 10:42:03 AM »
Post your questions and concerns about Theme Park Studio here! Hopefully they will be answered..

Heres a few questions I saw in other threads:
  • I noticed on the videos that there appears to be special plots in which the rides/ride station sits on. Are these predetermined spots or can you place them pretty much anywhere?
  • Do you know how much will the game cost and is it going to be on a download or buy it from a games shop.
  • Am i right in saying that we can make models in sketchup and then use them in TPS?
  • I read on the front page article that with an integrated animation engine, we can "setup" animated characters such as people and animals. Does this mean that the player will have to create his or her own visitor population, or will visitors be already included in the game, with an ability to customize them, such as in RCT3?

Post some more of your questions...

My only 'concern' is that I wont be able to get it to my computer, because it doesn't have internet, but i'm sure I can transport it via a flash-drive. Also, I really have no clue in what way i'll pay for it.

If they allow credit/debit cards, you can go to Walmart and get a Visa gift card and pre-load it with cash. I do that when I purchase stuff online since it has no strings attached.

Thats actually a good idea.. The thing is that Coastergeek987 still wouldn't beable to get it due to his computer not having internet.

Darn, that's true. Maybe go to a friends house to buy it, then use a flash drive to transfer the files xD

I think maybe TPS should have a "Burn to CS" option that comes with it. (If that's even possible)

Haha, that would be the only way if internet is needed to download the game!

Ohh, then you might just have to download it from your parents computer and then transfer it to yours using a thumb drive!

My concern is if it would work on older systems. Also, I'm
wondering if you'll need a big graphics card or not.

Would I be too insane if I judge this game as the RCT4?

I'm viewing it as that since atari filled ch. 11.
